Starr hadn't been all that thrilled when she had learned where she had agreed to work for, but hey, $50 for only 5 hours work? Not bad, and she walked up to the owner.
Smiling, she stated, "Where should I set up?"
He pointed, and before she left, he reminded her half the tips were his. Only shrugging, she hopped up onto the stage, tuned her violin, and began playing.
On one side, were two baskets. One said, 'Pick a Song', and the other said, 'Place Requests Here'.
Starr wasn't playing a classical piece, inside this place she wasn't sure if it would be appreciated. Instead, she was doing a violin rendition of the rock song, "Come On Feel the Noise".

Maria stepped into the dark club and breathed in the comforting smell of smoke and dingyness. SHe ordere a beer and sat down in a boot towards the back, her eyes turned to the person at the front and she listened to the twist on one of her favourite songs of all time. "Interesting." she muttered while taking a swig of the beer.

Finishing up, Starr moved the sheet music over, and picked a random song. Before seeing what it was, she gave a short announcement. "I take requests. Just please pick any song from the music basket and place in in the request basket. Thank you," she stated, and looked at the sheet music.
She sighed at the song choice and began the Elton John song, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", one she had actually found in violin sheet music, not transposed.
'Why couldn't I pick one like that?' she thought to herself as she played, making sure each note was played correctly, and she found herself humming along.
During this time, Starr had forgotten that she had her own compositions within there as well.

Maria walked up to the bar, keeping a close eye outside, Stinger had informed her of a Decepticon and another Transformer close by. She wasn't in the mood for music, she was in the mood for some fights. She took another solid swig of her beer and turned her gaze back to the girl on the stage. She wondered vaguely how so much of the music the girl seemed to play was just off the top of her head.

Star finished up the song, and looked around, noticing the female that seemed to not be there for the music. 'Who is? I'm just cheap, so he hired me. Boy, I'm glad I didn't say that out loud,' Star thought, and noticed her break time was almost up.
Looking down, she saw no requests, and she pulled out another song from the basket, paling a little when she saw it before putting it down.
Putting the bow to the strings, she began a fast paced song that got some people's attention. After all, it was new, never even been published, and Starr just kept playing, fingers flying with the bow over the 16th notes.
Eyes closed, the song was over just in time for her break, and she packed her violin away. "I'll be back in 10 minutes," she stated, and left the stage with her violin, getting out of the way.

From outside Maria heard her car fire up and she looked over with a glare, the right blinker was flashing. Stinger had found the Autobot, she drained the rest of her beer and stalked out outside, "Where is it? Which one?" she hissed.
"It's a new one. It's that blue truck over there." Stinger said.

Starr noticed her leaving, and she sighed. 'There goes that intrested person,' she thought, glaring at her glass of water.
She didn't trust the glass, and didn't notice outside.
Outside, her blue truck tried to ignore the other Autobot, who was flashing his lights somewhat, until he heard the female. 'Great, just great,' he thought, looking into the bar.
He liked music, it's what kept him with Starr. That, and she took care of him, couldn't beat that.
Shuddering a little, he tried not to do more.

"Hey, did it just move?" Maria asked, leaping back behind Stinger. "Tell me it just didn't move." she said, hitting the cars roof with her knuckles.
"You know, that's getting very annoying" Stinger sighed.
"Fine, if you're not going to say anything." Maria snapped, slowly stepping out towards the blue truck. "Erm... excuse me. Mr.Transformer-guy. I swear, I'm not going to hurt you. PLease don't hurt me. We're here to talk." she said, holding her hands up in an honest attempt to look harmless.

"I should make you scrap metal for revealing me. But, I'm not. I don't think any of my fellow teammates, who I am trying to avoid, would like it. I'm still an Autobot. Did you like her song? The one she played right before her break. Wrote it herself, she did," the blue truck growled out at them, his voice having a slight tinge to it that hinted he probably didn't want to be disturbed, till he questioned Maria.
His voice got lighter at the mention of the human, and he settled more on his wheels, listening. He wanted to listen, and he knew the 10 minutes were nearly up. Not that she knew she had an audience of one when she played her violin in the bed of the truck out in the middle of nowhere.
Inside, Starr had begun massaging her hands, keeping an eye on the clock. Time was up, and she got back on the stage to find two requests waiting for her. Pulling out the one on the bottom, she began to play 'Waltzing Matilda'.
Outside, the truck only muttered, "Hush please."

Maria gave a dry look to the truck and turned back to Stinger. "You're ever so helpful." she said. "No jumping in for anything? Not gonna help me out?"
"I think maybe you should calm down a bit, young one" Stinger laughed.
Maria's hand went to her face, she hated it when Stinger went all 'anceint smart ass' on her. "Yah, alright. Well I'm sorry I'm a bit worried about the end of the world." she snapped.

"It's 'Waltzing Matilda'. She doesn't like the song. Can't tell from her playing, can you? The name is Rapid Fire," Rapid Fire introduced, knowing the song.
Rapid Fire, a slightly bulky mech that had automatic weapons, thus his name. He also at times had a tendency to shoot of his mouth, but he was the one guy on a battlefield who also didn't leave guys behind.
He was also known to not like the idea of going to Earth at all, because he didn't like humans, and Rapid Fire still didn't. He just liked Starr.
Shifting a little, he listened to the ending of the song, and go to the next. This one was once again a classical rendition of a rock song, though he couldn't place it.

Maria leaned against Stinger lightly, with a small smile. "Over the Hills and Far Away." she said.
"Pardon?" Stinger chuckled.
"The song, it's Zeppellin" Maria replied. "Over the Hills and Far Away. One of my favourites." she gave a small sigh.
"Rapid Fire... haven't I heard of you before?" Stinger said. The name was familiar to him, although Stinger was also probably familiar to Rapid Fire, he was sort of like a celebrity in the world of the transformers. Which is why, until then he had avoided mentioning his name. "I'm Stinger." he added.

"Most likely Stinger. I'm the Autobot that didn't want to come to Earth. I don't like humans, in general. I put up with them, but I don't like them. I'm...neutral to them, I guess," Rapid Fire answered, ignoring the fact he did know Stinger.
Rapid Fire was more well known, right now, for not wanting to come to Earth because he didn't like humans. It was common knowledge. 'They were probably looking for me in junkyards,' he thought, listening as Starr finished up.
Checking his clock, he found she still had about two hours to go, and he huffed slightly. He was not the most patient mech in the world.
The next song coming up was a classical piece, a type of waltz, originally written for the piano. "That might be Mozart...I think. She said...once," he muttered, thinking out loud.

Maria tuned into the song "Chopin." she corrected, she could feel Stingers attention shift to her and she blushed a bit, she shouldn't know that. "My mum... she used to listen to that." she explained. "It's Chopin."

"Girl's got knowledge," Rapid Fire commented with a chuckle, and shifted his attention back over to where Starr was performing.
With a slight shudder through his frame, he focused on her playing again. "She's looking ill. Got to be the fact she's here. Probably being paid under the table. Her father would flip if he knew she was here. What are you going to do now?" he asked, focusing on them again.
