Starr was bored, thus, she was driving around. Not a bad idea, and she didn't speed, so life was good. Driving around, she felt the wheel jerk in her hand, causing her to look down. "Wha...hey! What are you doin'? Have you got sand in your gears?" she asked, not expecting an answer.
She didn't get one.
Forced to pull to a place she had never been before, she popped the hood, and went to look at it.
Always, the nice engine was in perfect order. "What is wrong with you?" she muttered.
She only knew what a perfect engine looked like because it didn't look any different from when she first popped the hood.

Maria heard the rumble of an automobile pulling in, she assumed that somone was just coming in for fun and to catch up on everything. She returned to her tune-up work on a Autobot that had just gotten into a fight. She placed her hand down, and before she had a chance to move it, the item in question heated up under her hand like a hot poker to the back. "Fuck off!" she screamed, ripping her hand from the car and chucking the tool-in-hand at the offensive car. It dented the fender and the car suddenly transformed from te car, to it's offensive form, scooping Maria into his hands. Stinger, Maria's protector jumped into action, " Release the girl... she was trying to help" he ordered in his deep, disturbingly calming voice. "Yah, ya stupid fat bastard." Maria said, hardly flinching at the hight or the size of the robot that she was captive of. "Y'don't just go burning people any time you think it's right!"

At the sound of Maria's shouting, Starr whirled around only to become paralyzed with fear. Tall...very tall, and her brain seemed to shut down. She was screaming at it, and another robot had come up, talking to the first.
Starr was shaking, and let out an audible shriek when she felt her best friend behind her shift. Turning back around, she didn't see any change, and visibly supported herself agianst the hood. "I have to be going crazy, I must be. I knew it! All those years...finally taking it's toll on me," she muttered, and she leaped back when Rapid Fire answered.
"No, you aren't. Sorry, I tricked you," he commented softly.
Starr stared, before falling onto the hood. She wasn't unconsious..yet.

The Autobot set her down, muttering a gruff apology, when Maria heard the scream. For some reason, it made her jump, and become cautious... she looked up to Stinger, "I'm going over." she announced, nodding over towards where the scream had come from. She crept around the corner, to find the dazed body of Starr.
"Hey, are you alright?!" Maria hurried over, holding out her non-injured hand.

Starr shaking still against the hood, jumped at the sound of another voice and whirled around, panting slightly. Rapid-Fire moved slightly, making sure she didn't fall. "My...be-...truck talked to me! And it moved on his own!" she exclaimed, still shaking.
Rapid-Fire let out a sound that reminded Starr of gears grinding, and she flinced, her legs finally failing her as she slumped to the ground. "My truck's alive," she mumbled.

"Rapid Fire... you should really not try to convince your human that you're alive... all on you own." Maria looked up to the truck with a smile. "And, it's like he's alive... 'coz he is." she said. "He's an autobot... and so are these guys." she guestered over her shoudler to where two other cars were waiting, and Stinger.

Rapid Fire let out another sound, and Starr gently pat the front bumper. "She needed to know...and don't tell me what to do!" Rapid Fire shot back, and Starr let out a soft groan, resting her head against the bumper.
"I always wondered why he only ran for me," she muttered, and Rapid Fire moved his front tires in what could be described as a shy way.
